Return and Refund Policy

Ticara Town wishes it’s customers the best shopping experience. As opened or used products cannot be reused or resold, the items cannot be returned to the seller once delivered.

The product being returned/ exchanged must be in its original unused condition and sent along with original bill and tags intact. No Exchange/Return on custom made and Discounted products.

However, in case of any return, a store credit is given instead of a refund and Rs. 150/- or 5%, whichever is higher, will be deducted for all exchanges and returns. The store credit is a coupon code that can be used at checkout, for your next purchase.

I received a damaged product. What do I do?

  • Please do not worry. Drop us a mail at  with images of the damaged product within 2 days of receiving the order. We will check and have the product replaced or refund your money whichever is preferred. 
  • Complete amount will be refunded and it can reflect in your account in 7-10 business days from the refund processed date.

What do I do if I don't like the product I received?

  • We do hope you don't have to check this section too often. So, drop us a mail regarding the issue or text us on whatsApp. The product can be arranged to be picked from your given address, if you do not like a particular product but there is no refund on any order unless the product is damaged.
  • The store credit is given after Rs.150/- or 5%, whichever is higher, is deducted from the original order value.

Can I return the product which was on sale?

  • Unfortunately, we do not accept returns on any sale or discounted items.

How do I process my return?

  1. Please inform us within 48 hours of receiving of order. You must email to notify us.
  2. Before we arrange for your damaged/incorrect product to be returned to us, you are required to send us a photograph of the product. Then it is up to the discretion of the Ticara Town QC team to decide whether the product is approved for return.
  3. Products can be only be returned. No exchange is allowed. Only if goods are found in damaged or defective condition, they are eligible for exchange. The customer needs to intimate us within 2 days of receipt of goods at their end for exchange.
  4. Once we have received your email and our Quality Control team has authorized the return, we will arrange for a courier to collect the goods and return them to us.
  5. Ticara Town will replace the items free of charge if possible or issue a credit note for the cost of goods to your wallet that can be used on next purchase. We will refund the purchase price of the product after the necessary deductions of  Rs.150/- or 5%, whichever is higher, for all exchanges and returns. Refunds will only be made after we have received the shipment in its original packaging.

We are not liable for any returns that we were not notified about within 2 business days of product receipt.


  1. Genuine quality issues.
  2. Packages lost in transit.
  3. In case Ticara Town discovers that a wrong item has been shipped to you.


  1. Incorrect or outdated delivery address.
  2. Incorrect address format including any form of a PO Box address.
  3. After 3 failed delivery attempts by our respective courier agent.
  4. Package refused by recipient.
  5. Sizing issues. Thus please review our size guides carefully before making your purchase.
  6. Products returned in a used or damaged condition.
  7. Minor colour and design variation. All products are handmade and use high quality stones, so there may be some variation from the photographs on our website.
  8. If the jewellery is not faulty or damaged.
  9. The customer needs to intimate us within 2 days of receipt of goods at his/her end.
  10. In case a Made to Order request is placed and the customer cancels the order subsequently, 25% of the product cost will be deducted and the balance will be refunded to the customer.

Category Specific Return and Exchange

Clothing/ Garment Return

Please note that since our products are handwoven, we mostly have one of each kind at a time. Also, as the fabrics are pure and the weaves delicate, each garment requires very careful handling. Hence, we are able to offer cancellations, returns or exchanges only in extreme circumstances.


  1. You may cancel your order before it has been shipped, provided that no tassels and/or fall pico have been added on your request. Should you cancel your order, you will receive a credit amount equivalent to the value of your order for any subsequent purchase on the website. If you wish to receive a refund instead, any bank/payment gateway processing charges will be borne by you and will be deducted from the total before the refund. 
  1. Only unstitched garments (saris, stoles and dupattas) are eligible for cancellations. Orders for fabrics and apparel/ garments cannot be cancelled.

Apparel/ garments and fabrics cannot be returned.

Your return request should be sent by email to  within 48 hours of receiving your shipment. Requests send after 48 hours of delivery of parcel will not be eligible for returns..


  1. You may exchange your order only if no tassels and/or fall pico have been added on your request or confirmation.
  2. You will be responsible for any applicable customs and duties for both the returned shipment and the items we ship in exchange. (Please note that incoming shipments into India from overseas can attract very high custom duty charges. Those will need to be borne by the customer in case of an exchange.)
  3. To and fro shipping charges in case of will be applicable overseas shipments.
  4. All our apparel is made on order and cannot be exchanged. Fabrics are cut from the full yardage and cannot be exchanged,
  5. Any product that has been opened, unfolded, or tried on will not be exchanged.
Hair Accessories

All hair accessories including our hair carrier, catch clips, scrunchies, hairpins, barrettes as well as any other products falls under this category are not eligible for return, due to hygiene purposes.

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable. 
  • No return / refund / exchange is possible for customized products unless it is damaged. 
  • The store credit is given after Rs.150/- or 5%, whichever is higher, is deducted from the original order value.
