Q: If you wanted to know more about your Saree/Fabric?

  • A: We put it a lot effort in writing our product descriptions to give you the most accurate information about every Ticara product that we sell.
  • If you would like to know about the fabric/weave/pattern of our products, You can get in touch with us, and we would be happy to help.

Q: How can I ensure the actual saree look??

  • A: Like the peacock’s feathers, silk fiber also has a very unique luster due to its physical and chemical structures which enhances reflection of light. we take great pains in ensuring that we photograph all our products under standard lighting conditions, shot by the best cameras, or are taken outdoors in natural daylight and posted without any editing to give the most accurate look.
  • If you have any doubts, please feel free to request us for additional photos in indoor lights. However for indoor pictures, multiple factors such as angle of photograph, type of light (white, yellow or natural), and composition of the fabric effect the colors as captured in the photographs, which may occasionally result in minor variations.

Q: Does real Zari is used on the saree??

  • A: The zari that is used in most of our sarees is high-grade zari which has a very graceful luster. It’s not the artificial/imitation/plastic zari that is extremely shiny.
  • Sarees that are made of real zari or pure silver zari will have it mentioned in the product description and these are usually priced much higher, depending on the pattern and extent of zari work.

Q:  Are your products silk mark authentic?

  • A: Some of the products will come with silk mark but rest you can assured are pure handloom and authentic. Kindly check the product description for the same.

Q: Do the saree come with a blouse piece?

  • A: Yes, all our sarees are woven with extra fabric of length approximately 0.8m to 1m for the blouse.

Q: Can you customise my design?

  • A: Unfortunately, we do not offer any design customization service at the moment. We only do designs that are created by our design team.
  • The design making and weaving process for handloom products is quite involved and time consuming. It often requires many months of planning and inputs from several of our highly skilled experts. 

Q: Do you sell running yardage?

  • A: Yes, we do sell running fabrics. These are available under our collection “Mohak-Handwoven Fabric”. 

Q: How can I use yardage?

  • A: Our handwoven yardage from Banaras, can be transformed into blouse, dress material, saree, dupatta or any other thing that your heart desired. For styling ideas, get in touch with us, we will surely help you.

Ordering and Shipping

Q: I saw a product a couple of days ago, now i can’t find it. Can i still order it??

  • A: If a product is not on our website, it means it is sold out for now and it is unavailable for order. Please get in touch with us through one of the channels mentioned if you would like us to double check for you.

Q: what are pre-orders and how do they work?

  • A: You may put in a request to club multiple orders, but only before we have shipped your order.
  • Also, all of these orders must have the same billing and shipping details.

Q: How do I track my order?

  • A: As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive a mail with the tracking details which you can use to track your order.
  • You can also log into your account that you may have created while placing the order to see the status of your order. If you have not created an account, please do so with the same email id that you used to place your order.

Payment

Q: The payment page is redirecting to different website. Is it safe to go ahead with the payment?

  • A: Yes, we are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Hence, all Credit/Debit card and bank details are kept confidential and private. We use one of the country’s best payment gateway “CCAvenue” Our trusted payment gateways use SSL encryption technology to protect your private information.

Q: I am unable to make a payment, is there any other mode of payment?

  • A: We would surely help you through this. Please get in touch with us through one of the channels mentioned. 

Q: Do we offer cash on delivery?

  • A: We do offer Cash on Delivery on our products or order value. Kindly check the website for the same.

Q: Do we have tie up for discount deals?

  • A: Yes, we do have tie-up with CCavenue. You can check the discount options at the time of payment.

Q: Do you accept payment through a wallet or UPI?

  • A: we do accept payment through wallet or UPI. Kindly get in touch with us and we will help you.

Delivery

Q: Do we ship outside India?

  • A: Absolutely, we deliver shipments all over the world. 

Q: What courier services do we use?

  • A: All our shipments are sent using reputed courier agencies. Shipments within India are sent through DTDC, Bluedart or any other with equal rating, while for international shipments we use DHL and UBX.

Q: What are the delivery timelines and charges for shipping to international destination?

  • A: International shipments are delivered within 7-10 days. We will provide you with a tracking number to track your shipment online.
  • International shipping is free for orders above ₹20,000. For orders below ₹20,000, the approximate shipping charge for one saree is ₹2000. This would increase marginally with the number of products, for e.g., two sarees would have shipping charge of ₹2200, and so on.

Q: What are the delivery charges for shipping within India?

  • A: We have minimum charge for shipping anywhere within India that too upto a certain value, kindly check your order for the same.

Q: How can you contact the courier?

  • A: In case you haven’t received your order or you are unable to receive it, please call the customer service center of the courier service to get in touch with your courier delivery person.
  • Please get in touch with us through one of the channels mentioned if you would like any further help.

Q: You missed your delivery. What happens now??

  • A: Don’t worry, any courier service agency makes at least three attempts to deliver, as a standard policy. So in case you have missed it the first time please get in touch with the courier service agency. In case you are unable to contact the agency, we are here to do our best to help you out.

Return/Exchange

Q: Can I return my order?

  • A: Returns or exchanges are only possible in exceptional circumstances.

Q: Could I get refund for my order?

  • A: You could get a refund only if you have received damaged, defective or wrong items. For more information please see our Returns and Refund policy page.

Q: Can I cancel an order?

  • A: You may cancel your order before it has been shipped, provided that no tassels and/or fall pico have been added on your request. Should you cancel your order, you will receive a credit amount equivalent to the value of your order for any subsequent purchase on the website.
  • If you wish to receive a refund instead, any bank processing charges will be borne by you and will be deducted from the total before the refund.

General Curiosity:

Q: Are our product available in any retail stores?

  • A: We maintain limited distribution for our products. Our products are only sold through our website, www.ticaratown.com.

Q: How can I log into my Ticara account?

  • A: If you have created an account with us, you can log into it from here.
  • In case you have not created an account with Ticara, we suggest that you create one using the same email address that you used to place an order with us.

Q: What are the dimensions of our saree?

  • A: The standard dimensions of our sarees are:
  • Length: Between 5.4 mtr and 5.6 mtr (212 inches and 236 inches)
  • Width: Between 1.1 mtr and 1.17 mtr (44 inches to 46 inches)
  • Blouse piece: Between 0.8 mtr and 1 mtr (31 inches and 39 inches)
  • However, there may be minor variations from saree to saree. If you would like to know the exact measurements please contact us with the product code and we would be happy to have it measured for you.

Q: Do we have a physical store?

  • A: We have an experiential store in Uttar Pradesh. All visits to the studio are on an appointment only basis.

Q: Can I see real videos captured of your products?

  • A: No, we do not have this feature available right now. However, a video call can be arranged for you to take a closer look at the sarees.

Q: Do we have a gift-wrapping feature available?

  • A: Oh yes, we can provide you a gift-wrapping, if available. Kindly get in touch for the same.
